The company was incorporated in Mumbai in 1993, under the name & style of Microtex Yarn Pvt. Ltd. with the principal aim of producing Polyester yarns.

The promoters of the company have more than four decades of experience in the manufacture & trade of textiles.

During the mid 90's it was observed that poor packaging was a hindrance to full potential of textile export.

1995-1996 they found that due to very poor packaging the textile exports were being affected. Thus the setting up of a plant for corrugated boxes, became essential. The first plant commenced production in 1997 at Daman, near Mumbai. Over the years, it expanded to become a full-fledged packaging entity with commissioning of another plant in the same vicinity.

Consequent to the liberalisation policy of the Government a decade ago, restrictions of investments in corrugated packaging industry were removed, and we decided to take a quantum leap towards modernisation & making corrugated box production a main stream business activity.

In 2006, the company acquired land of about 24000 sq.mtrs. near Vapi Located in Gujarat - A state which is undoubtedly the growth engine of emerging India.

In 2007, operations began at the new location with one double wall (5 ply) 1.6 meter automatic board production line imported from M/s. J.S.Machines, China - the world's largest corrugated machinery producers.

In 2010, one more double wall 1.8 meter line was added in the same location which made our company the first in India to have two 5ply automatic imported board production lines under one roof.

Our plant is equipped with all the required converting equipment including printer - slotters, rotary die punch, semi-auto stitching lines and allied equipment.

Our plant also has a well equipped laboratory with all the necessary Quality testing instruments.

With our full thrust and impetus on packaging the name of the company was recently re-christened to Riyo Parapack Pvt.Ltd.
